Oiseau du genre des corneilles, qui a le bec gros & long, & les pieds noirs. Quelques-uns disent graule ou graille. En Latin gracculus : le geay c'est galgulus. Menage tient que ce mot vient de garrula, ou de garriola, qui se trouve dans la Loy des Allemands.
