Historical definition of IMPETRATION s. f.
Obtention de grace, de privileges, de Lettres, de charges, d'un Benefice. L'impetration du Benefice d'un homme vivant porte incapacité en la personne de l'impetrant de le posseder jamais. Il y a des impetrations qu'on casse pour estre obreptices ou subreptices. L'impetration d'une charge vacante qui est declarée impetrable, est un bon tiltre.
